ICBC Active Rehab

ICBC Active Rehabilitation Services provide exercise therapies for those who no longer require acute care but have ongoing physical complaints with respect to injuries caused by a motor vehicle accident.

After a careful assessment and discussion with the client, a team of qualified Kinesiologists will design and implement an individualized program considering the nature of injuries and occupational and leisure requirements. The assessment includes qualitative and quantitative examination of joint function, coordination, posture, balance, and body awareness. The Kinesiologists also liaise with other medical professionals including physicians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, and massage therapists to incorporate important clinical decisions into the rehabilitation program.

During the program, the Kinesiologists will deliver knowledge and techniques needed for restoring fundamental movement functions and reducing pain through one-on-one sessions. They also provide structured home exercise programs tailored for each individual. Therefore, the clients will not only receive effective treatments for functional recovery but also develop their own strategies to move more efficiently and prevent re-injuries.

Andrea Brennan, Briana Kelly, and Jessica Pastro are our practicing Kinesiologists, and take ICBC clients. If you have any concerns relating to your physical health after a motor vehicle accident please contact it’s time! administration at 604-988-8463 or by email
