The past 2 years has been a challenge for me as I became the sole care giver for my elderly parents.  Lots of things took a back seat in my life, but mostly, my fitness went right out the window!  Then one day,  I saw some postings by Denise Kelly on Facebook telling about the staff and programs at it’s time Fitness and how it had had such a huge impact on her life. Denise inspired me to check it out and as they say, the rest is history!

One year ago today, I began my journey back to health. For many years I was an avid runner and bootcamper.  In fact, fitness had always been part of my life.  Early in my 40s, that regime abruptly stopped.  Suddenly, there were reasons I did not trust my body anymore.  My anxiety grew and I became afraid to push myself.  Tied up in a myriad of emotions, I walked away from the one thing that made me feel powerful:  exercise.
